Alumni Association & Collaborations

The Association

The SZABUL Alumni Association is the representative body of the university's graduates. Its purpose is simple: to keep every graduate connected to the institution that shaped them, and to put the collective strength of the alumni community at the service of current students and of the university itself.

The Association works under the patronage of the Vice Chancellor's office and the Alumni Office, and draws its members from all three faculties — Law, Social Sciences and Management Sciences. Office bearers are drawn from the verified members of this portal.

What the Association does

Mentorship. Senior alumni — advocates, judges, civil servants and corporate professionals — guide final-year students and fresh graduates on chambers, pupillage, the bar examination, competitive examinations and early careers.

Professional networking. Batch reunions, faculty meet-ups and the annual alumni dinner keep the community close, while the Job Board circulates openings shared by alumni employers.

Giving back. The Association supports merit and need-based assistance for deserving students, contributes books to the university library, and sponsors moot court and research competitions.

Collaborations

The university and its alumni community collaborate with the institutions where SZABUL graduates serve, including:

• The Bench and the Bar — engagement with the High Court of Sindh, district judiciary, the Sindh Bar Council and Karachi Bar Association on internships, training and continuing legal education.
• Public sector — graduates serving in the civil services, public prosecution and provincial departments who facilitate internships and research access.
• Law firms & corporate counsel — leading chambers and legal departments that offer pupillage and associate positions through the Job Board.
• Academia — joint seminars, moot competitions and faculty exchange with universities across Pakistan.
• Civil society — legal-aid clinics and awareness programmes where alumni volunteer their expertise.
